Between Digital Squares
--------------------------
Welcome to the Instruction Manual for the Invisible Yokai Hacking System!
Invisible Yokai has detected that this computer has 4 Layers of Protection, and to unlock this device, you must crack each of them one by one.
Each layer has 4 Grids, with the exception of the first, which has 8. To crack a layer, you must build a circuit within each grid.
Circuit squares are black. Blank squares are white, or gold.
Number cells count as blanks. If a square does not have a number, then you can change it's color.
There are three conditions for a working grid -
1 - Each numbered cell must form an island between the circuit's walls - with the amount of connected blanks equal to the cell's number.
2 - There can only be one number in an island for it to count. No more, no less.
3 - All circuit cells must be connected, and a circuit cannot form any 2x2 squares.
We at Yokai apologize if this is a lot of information at once. If you've ever played the game Nurikabe, the rules are the same.
However, know that Invisible Yokai is not a program that can be acquired legally.
To protect you from legal consequences, Invisible Yokai will wipe all data on this device in fifteen minutes.
You have that amount of time to crack all 4 layers. We hope that's everything you're looking for.
I hope this manual was helpful. Feel free to review the rules at any time.
